Yes, it is fine to walk around while turned on - this won’t damage the slippers.
 

Lift the tab located at the heel of the slipper to reveal the battery compartment. Underneath, remove the battery cover & you will see a place for 1x AAA battery. Insert the batteries so that the +/- terminals of the battery match the +/- markings in the battery compartment. Close the compartment. Place the slippers on your feet and locate the On/Off button on the side of the slipper. Press once to turn on massaging motor. Please see instruction manual for further information & notes.
 

The slippers require 2 AAA batteries (1 per slipper), these can be purchased at any super market, convenience store/similar stores.
 

Slippers are intended primarily for indoor use; may be worn outdoors in dry weather for limited periods of time.
